Obama was just declared the winner of the general election, and I'm so proud of him and our country. However, part of me is deeply sad tonight; I'm reminded that for one more election cycle our nation won't have a female president.
I hope someday we'll break that highest glass ceiling.

When the the Obama family walked out looking absolutely resplendent in their black and red, I cried like a baby. What a moment. Don't worry; women will get there in time. If Obama proves anything, it is that the American people are capable of changing when given the right opportunity and powerful motivation. After all, the guys middle name is Huissein!
